Ottoclip was founded by Tuyen Truong. While at Stanford, Tuyen built an early version of Facebook that was shut down by the administration. He went on to found Screenleap (YC W12), a browser-based screen sharing platform that let anyone share their screen with no install needed. Building Screenleap gave Tuyen deep expertise in how browsers render, interact with, and expose product interfaces, which became the technical foundation that Ottoclip's structural capture is built on. At Screenleap, every time he shipped a product update, all of the product content had to be redone across multiple tools. Tuyen built Ottoclip so no team has to go through that again.
